Guide
General information on fertiliser use in agriculture
A concise working guide to planning soil, foliar and fertigation programmes. The final programme must always reflect analysis, crop and local conditions.
1. Start with analysis
Soil analysis shows nutrient reserves, pH and soil limitations. Leaf analysis helps assess current plant nutrition. Without analysis, rates remain indicative.
2. Separate base and corrective nutrition
Soil fertilisation establishes the nutritional base. Foliar application is a rapid tool for targeted supply at a critical stage, but it does not replace the whole programme.
3. Choose the right timing
The most suitable stages are active growth: after emergence or transplanting, before flowering, during fruit set and growth, and after stress.
4. Respect concentration
A rate per decare and a rate per 100 L water are not the same. For foliar application, also account for spray volume per decare.
5. Work under suitable conditions
Avoid strong wind, high temperatures and direct midday sun. Aim for uniform coverage without run-off or overdosing.
6. Check compatibility
For an unfamiliar combination, perform a small jar test. Follow every product label and avoid unnecessary components in the tank mix.
7. Maintain equipment
Check filters, nozzles, pressure and calibration. A soluble product cannot compensate for an incorrectly adjusted sprayer or fertigation system.
8. Keep records
Record crop, area, growth stage, rate, water volume, mixed products, temperature and results. This turns observations into a workable programme for the next season.
How AROTECH is used
AROTECH supplies organic matter, organic nitrogen, carbon, free amino acids and peptides. Depending on the crop, it can be used foliarly, through the soil or via irrigation.
During active growth
For stages with high demand and intensive physiological activity.
Under stress
As part of a recovery programme after drought, temperature extremes or other adverse conditions.
Within a crop programme
Rate and timing are selected by crop. Use the table, the label and agronomic advice.
This guide does not replace the product label
The product label, applicable regulatory information and crop-specific agronomic assessment take priority. Do not exceed the stated rates and use personal protective equipment.
